Creating Your Account
How to sign up for Fervae and set up your profile for the first time.
What is Fervae?
Fervae is a platform built for science communicators. It helps you find research worth sharing, write posts about it, publish those posts to your social media accounts, and track how your audience responds. Everything lives in one place.
If you've never used a tool like this before, that's completely fine. This guide walks you through everything step by step.
Creating your account
- Go to fervae.com and click Get Started.
- You can sign up with your email address or use your Google account.
- If you use email, you'll set a password and verify your address.
Setting up your profile
The first time you sign in, Fervae asks for your name. This is how you'll appear on the platform (for example, if you're on a team). You can change it later in Settings.
After that, you'll land on the Discovery Hub, a feed of recent research papers and science news. Think of it as your home base.
- Explore the Hub. Browse some research and news in your field.
- Connect a social account. Head to Settings and link at least one platform (like Instagram or Bluesky) so you can start posting.
- Save an article. When you find something interesting, click the heart icon to save it to your Library for later.
There's no rush. Take your time getting familiar with things.
