Workspace and Team Management
How to invite team members, set roles, and collaborate on content.
What is a workspace?
A workspace is your team's shared space in Fervae. If you're using Fervae by yourself, your workspace is just you. But if you're part of a lab, department, or organization, you can invite others to join your workspace so everyone can create and publish content together.
Inviting someone to your team
(Team plan required)
- Go to Settings → Workspace & Team.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Pick a role for them (see below).
- Click Send.
They'll get an email with a link to join. Once they click it and create their account, they'll be part of your workspace.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control. Billing, settings, team members, and all content. This is the person who created the workspace. |
| Admin | Everything except billing. Can invite/remove members, connect accounts, and manage content. |
| Member | Can create and publish content using the workspace's connected accounts. Can't change settings or manage the team. |
If you want to review posts before they go live (for example, if grad students are creating content for a lab account), turn on Require Approval in workspace settings. Posts from Members won't publish until an Admin or Owner approves them.
Managing your team
From the team page you can see everyone in your workspace, when they joined, and their role. You can also cancel pending invites or remove someone from the workspace if needed.
