Workspace and Team Management
How to invite team members, set roles, and collaborate on content.
What is a workspace?
A workspace is your team's shared space in Fervae. If you're using Fervae by yourself, your workspace is just you. But if you're part of a lab, department, or organization, you can invite others to join your workspace so everyone can create and publish content together.
Inviting someone to your team
(Team plan required)
- Go to Settings → Team & Invites.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Pick a role for them (see below).
- Click Send.
They'll get an email with a link to join. Once they click it and create their account, they'll be part of your workspace.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control. Billing, settings, team members, and all content. This is the person who created the workspace. |
| Admin | Everything except billing. Can invite/remove members, connect accounts, and manage content. |
| Manager | Runs day-to-day content. Can compose, publish, schedule, approve posts, and manage the pipeline. No billing or member management. |
| Member | Standard contributor. Can draft, compose, and publish (subject to approval rules) but can't manage other people or billing. |
| Editor | Pipeline only. Can view and edit pipeline items for their assigned brands. Ideal for video editors and contractors. |
If you want to review posts before they go live (for example, if grad students are creating content for a lab account), turn on Require Approval in workspace settings. Posts from Members won't publish until an Admin or Owner approves them.
Adding seats
The Team plan includes 3 seats. You can add more for $10 per seat per month from Settings → Plan & Billing. You'll be asked to confirm the seat count before being redirected to Stripe.
Managing your team
From Team & Invites you can see everyone in your workspace, when they joined, and their role. You can also cancel pending invites or remove someone from the workspace if needed.
