Connecting Your Accounts
How account connections work and how to get started.
Why do I need to connect accounts?
Fervae can publish posts, read comments, and track engagement on your social media accounts, but it needs your permission first. When you "connect" an account, you're authorizing Fervae to act on your behalf for that account. Fervae never sees or stores your password.
How it works
Every platform uses a secure process called OAuth (you don't need to remember the name). It's the same method used when you "Sign in with Google" on other websites. You log in on the platform's own website, approve the permissions, and get redirected back to Fervae. Your password is never shared with Fervae at any point.
General steps
The basic process is the same for most platforms:
- Go to Settings (click your avatar in the top-right corner).
- Click Brands & Accounts.
- Find the platform you want to connect and click Connect.
- You'll be taken to that platform's website. Log in and approve the permissions.
- You'll be redirected back to Fervae automatically.
Some platforms have extra requirements or a slightly different flow. See the individual platform guides in this section for specifics.
